For unicorns and pegasi, the ponies in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic have some killer style. What with the pony galas and fashion shows... in this week's edition of Dorky Dress Up, here's some super fashionable outfits inspired by the MANE ponies of this fantastic cartoon.

1. Otto Asymmetric Dress from Harvey Nichols
2. Steve Madden XCess Wedges
3. Animal Rings from Topshop
1. Cupcake Necklace from Sweet & Co.
2. Pink Fit and Flare Dress from Glamorous
3. Fuchsia Lace Up Suedette Boots from BooHoo

Have any suggestions of Dorky Dress Ups for the future? Let me know in the comments!

    1. I, too, am a geek girl, but I am also a fashionista, which is what this blog is about. I don't think that geeky women need to wear the uniform of jeans and dorky t-shirt to prove their geekiness - it's easy to be epicly fashionable and still a geek.

  2. A) None of the Ponies would wear these outfits if they could.

    B) These outfits are not representative of the Ponies styles and personalities.

    C) All of the above.

    It's C.

    1. Well, I guess alLLLLLLlllll the 100+ girls I saw at otakon who dressed in a pony-inspired fashion very VERY much like the blog entry (I saw several girls p much in that applejack outfit exactly) must not know anything about the characters in the show they loved so much that they dressed up like them! C'MON.

    2. Because Otakon is where you go to find people who know about dressing well.

    3. True, but I still disagree; I think these outfits are cute and relevant to the characters.

    1. actually, i was supporting the blog by rebutting psy's comment. also, not a pony elitist. in fact, not even a pony fan at all (I don't hate it, but just not into it). i was just remarking that, despite psy's remarks, I had an opposite experience when it came to seeing members of the fandom in person at a convention. I suppose my sarcasm didn't come out in that comment.

  4. The blogs are really the voice of the heart of the writers. The blogs are really knowledgeable and thought provoking. This shows your internal calmness and knowledge in the brain. The style is much impressive and I shall come again to catch up the latest posts .
